Old normal pellets on the left plate, new dark colored ones on the right. So a new bag of Roudybush pellets was delivered today, and it looked dark and green. Completely different, and Amazon didn’t show any warning about this either. After some online research, turns out Roudybush has suddenly changed the formula by adding alfalfa, turning the color (and smell) different. I’m a bit worried if the birds will eat it, but so far Benjamin seems to find it okay. I would have appreciate a bit of warning before the sudden change 🙁 I will keep testing it, but if they refuse to eat it, I will have to consider switching them to a different brand. Switching them from seeds to pellets was already hard enough, so I’m not looking forward to that.
